Aspire. Believe. Achieve. Aspire. Believe. Achieve. Aspire. Believe. Achieve. Aspire. Believe. Achieve.
Welcome
We would like to extend to you a very warm welcome to Marton cum Grafton Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School, a vibrant, inclusive and popular primary school where excellence is celebrated. Here, a strong Christian ethos encourages responsible behaviour and respect for others, in the context of Christian belief and practice. Our children are inspired to learn in an environment that encourages individuality, creativity and independence in our happy, safe and supportive school.
We aim for the highest quality of education for all our pupils. We believe it is important to provide the widest possible range of learning opportunities to enable all pupils to develop their own talents and abilities in a variety of curriculum areas.
As a church school we promote Christian values in everything we do in school. We like to achieve an extended family atmosphere in school to promote a feeling of belonging to a caring community, which in turn creates confidence and security for the children. We understand that parents play a vital role in the education of their children and so value the many ways that they engage with the school and their children’s education. We work closely with families to enable each child to achieve their potential.
The core purpose of our vision is for children to Aspire, Believe and Achieve in a caring Christian community to ensure the holistic development of all who work and learn here.
As a Church of England school we are committed to our Christian ethos in which children feel confident about their work, and enjoy belonging to a community that encourages kindness, independence and respect. We live out our core values of Kindness, Courage and Respect, drawing upon the lessons of the parable of the sower to guide us.
Once these fundamental principles become rooted deep within each child, they learn to flourish. They are ready to use their talents, demonstrate resilience and maturity, and discover the world from a new perspective.
The vision for the future of our school clearly shows that the children are at the heart of everything we undertake here.
